Baroque Violin Bow By Brian Tunnicliffe Brian trained as an Engineering Patternmaker (wood).
Later qualified as a Handicraft Teacher and taught Woodwork, Metalwork and Engineering drawing for 24 years.
In 1978 Brian became acquainted with past master AR. Bultitude who was instrumental in helping him to become a Master Bowmaker.
Tunnicliffe Bow’s are mainly used by professional violin, viola, cello and double bass players who are members of the top London Orchestras e.g. LSO, RPO, as well as the Leading Baroque Orchestras, eg: Orchestras of the Age of Enlightenment. Commissions have also come from Europe, USA, Canada, South Africa and Australia.
The octagonal fluted stick of pernambuco of an orange-brown colour, plain open ivory frog. Plain turned ivory adjuster.
