Violin Bow By Jerome Thibouville-lamy Mirecourt

Louis Emile Jérôme Thibouville-Lamy ( J.T.L.) (born 1833)
A superbly balanced and elegant silver mounted bow circa 1925 from this Mirecourt manufacturer. Bow making at Thibouville-Lamy was created with the help of Jean-Joseph Martin, in 1870. This shop closed in 1968.

The octagonal stick of pernambuco of a red-brown colour, silver mounted ebony frog inlaid with Parisian eye, plain silver.
