Violin Bow By Hawkes & Sons C.1895

A fine French bow from Mirecourt c.1895.
Hawkes & Son were prominent English dealers of a range of high-quality instruments and bows including Pedrazzini, Roth, Milton and Falise.

The round stick of pernambuco of an orange-brown colour, silver mounted ebony frog inlaid with pearl eye, plain silver adjuster.
