John Maw studied bow making with John Clutterbuck around 1978.
He was a graduate from the Royal Academy of Music.
The round stick of pernambuco of a red-brown colour, silver mounted ivory frog inlaid with Parisian eye, three part silver adjuster inlaid with pearl eye, imitation whalebone lapping.
