Violin Bow By Marcel Charles Lapierre, Mirecourt C.1950

Born 1907 in Mirecourt, his mother worked for the firm of Laberte. He trained with Jerome Thibouville-Lamy between 1921-1923.

He worked for Brouillier & Lotte, F.Lotte, Bazin, Morizot, Ouchard and Vidoudez.

The ocagonal stick of a pernambuco of red-brown colour, silver mounted ebony frog inlaid with Parisian eye, plain silver adjuster.

Stamped 'M Lapierre' on the shaft
