Classical Violin German C.1820

The two piece back of maple of plain wood, showing several bird's eye figure in the lower half. The ribs, pegbox and scroll of plain wood.

The two piece front of pine of medium-broad grain.

The varnish of a warm orange-brown colour on a yellow ground.

Original neck still bearing original nail fixing, original bass bar and saddle.
