The two piece back of maple of irregular medium-fine curl slightly ascending across the back from the joint. The ribs, pegbox and scroll of somewhat less pronounced faint medium-broad curl. The two piece front of pine of strong medium-fine grain. The varnish of a rich red-orange colour on a yellow ground.
