Cello German Mittenwald C.1870. A fine and charcteristic example of a Mittenwald cello.
The two piece back of faint medium curl running horizontally across the back from the joint, the ribs, pegbox and scroll of similar curl. The two piece front of pine of medium grain. The varnish of a rich dark red-orange colour on a yellow ground. Label Reads:
