Violin By Francesco Penerio 1924.

The two piece back of maple of medium-fine curl running horizontally across the back from the joint. The pegbox and scroll of similar curl, the ribs of somewhat broader curl.

The two piece front of pine of medium grain.

The varnish of a rich red-orange colour on a yellow ground.

Labelled on the inner back.
