Violin Pierre Nicolo, Mirecourt C.1900. The two piece back of maple of strong medium curl slightly descending across the back from the joint. The pegbox and scroll of similar curl, the ribs of somewhat broader curl.
The two piece front of pine of medium grain.
The varnish of an orange-brown colour on a yellow ground. Label Reads:
