Description:

Violin Maidstone German C.1900.

The two piece back of maple of faint medium-broad curl slightly descending across the back from the joint. The ribs of similar curl, the pegbox and scroll of plain wood.

The two piece front of pine of broad grain.

The varnish of an orange-red colour on a yellow ground.
