Violin 3/4 German Mittenwald C.1890. The two piece back of maple of strong medium curl descending across the back from the joint. The ribs, pegbox and scroll of similar wood.
The two piece front of pine of fine grain in the centre broadening towards the flanks.
The varnish of a warm orange-brown colour on a yellow ground. Label Reads:
